Cookie policy

What we set
Spore sets only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service, on the .sporee.fr domain and its subdomains:
- Session and authentication cookies — issued by our authentication system, they keep you signed in between pages and protect the account against forged requests. Without them you would have to re-authenticate on every action.
- Language preference cookie — remembers whether you use the service in French or English.
What we do not set
On none of our pages do we set:
- any advertising or retargeting cookie;
- any third-party tracker, social network or ad network;
- any analytics tool setting a tracking identifier;
- any profiling or scoring cookie, or any cookie sharing data with a third party.
The service itself inserts no tracking pixel and no link rewriting into the emails you send: Spore measures neither opens nor clicks.
Technical observability of the service (metrics, logs, traces) runs on a tool self-hosted on our own infrastructure. It sets no cookie and involves no third-party provider.
Why there is no consent banner
Prior user consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide a service the user expressly requested — typically advertising cookies, or analytics cookies used for purposes beyond the purely technical.
Every cookie we set falls into the strictly necessary category: session maintenance, authentication security, language preference. They are therefore exempt from prior consent, and a consent banner would have nothing to ask you.
That exemption would cease immediately if we introduced a non-necessary tracker. In that case a consent mechanism would be put in place before any cookie is set, and this page would be updated accordingly.
Managing cookies
You may delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings. Blocking session cookies will however prevent signing in to your account: the service has no other way to recognise an authenticated session.
