Transactional email, hosted in Europe, under European law.
Spore sends your email from fully European infrastructure. Your recipient data never leaves the EU and never falls under the US CLOUD Act. GDPR isn't a setting to turn on — it's the default.
Hosted end to end in the EU
The control plane runs on Scaleway (France). Our sending servers are in Europe. No recipient data is replicated outside the EU, for storage or processing.
Outside the reach of the CLOUD Act
US providers — SendGrid, Mailgun, Resend, Postmark — remain subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act, which allows access to data even when stored in Europe. Spore is a European company on European infrastructure: that lever doesn't exist.
GDPR by default
Data minimisation, a ready-to-sign DPA, explicit retention. You don't have to re-configure a product built for another legal regime — compliance is the starting point.
A processing chain that stays in Europe.
For a European developer, "data in the EU" isn't enough if the provider itself is American. Spore aligns hosting, legal entity and support on the same continent.
- Recipient data stored and processed exclusively within the EU.
- European legal entity — no parent company subject to US law.
- GDPR-compliant DPA, available from day one.
- Subprocessors and infrastructure documented and located in the EU.
